You can't fix yourself, let alone other people! You can't fix the world! The world can't fix the world! The church joining up with the world can't fix the world! In fact, whenever the church joins in "common cause" with the world to address moral/spiritual problems the end result is always a compromised church and the situation only grows worse. When it comes to a moral or spiritual "fix" the world is totally bankrupt! And yet we are witnessing a whole new generation of professing Christians that don't really believe this. It is a commentary on how WEAK the church truly is. Have we not read:

2 Corinthians 6:14–18 (NKJV)
14 Do not be unequally yoked together with unbelievers. For what fellowship has righteousness with lawlessness? And what communion has light with darkness?
15 And what accord has Christ with Belial? Or what part has a believer with an unbeliever?
16 And what agreement has the temple of God with idols? For you are the temple of the living God. As God has said: “I will dwell in them And walk among them. I will be their God, And they shall be My people.”
17 Therefore “Come out from among them And be separate, says the Lord. Do not touch what is unclean, And I will receive you.”
18 “I will be a Father to you, and you shall be My sons and daughters, says the LORD Almighty.”

If you join in with the world's protest and chant their slogans they will love you for it. But if you bring your little placard that says, "Jesus ALONE is the answer!" I can promise you that you will not be tolerated. The spirit of the world will not abide JESUS in all His PURITY! Preach Jesus and Jesus ALONE and you will be hated. The Church is really a "stand alone" phenomenon! The gospel is a STAND ALONE message! Jesus, de facto told us the world would hate us (cf. John 15:18-20). Jesus NEVER made "common cause" with the world. Have we not read:

Matthew 12:19–20 (NKJV)
19 He will not quarrel nor cry out, Nor will anyone hear His voice in the streets.
20 A bruised reed He will not break, And smoking flax He will not quench, Till He sends forth justice to victory;

The apostles NEVER made "common cause" with the world. The early church NEVER made "common cause" with the world. Theirs was SINGULARLY a GOSPEL CAUSE with which the world would NEVER align! And the world hated them for it! If you hold to a watered down version of Jesus - a watered down version of the gospel, the world, for a time, may well sing your praises, but if you DARE to make the GOSPEL your singular cause they will hate you for it.

I believe we are entering into the greatest time of APOSTASY the world has ever seen and yet many in the professing church are oblivious to what is really happening.

A whole generation of professing Christians has grown up with a theology (a bad theology) of INTEGRATION. They claim to believe the Bible and yet they really think that the wisdom of the world has a contribution to make as well. Hence, they are VERY OPEN to making "common cause" with the world! They want to wed the Bible with the wisdom of the age. That is a disaster for the position of biblical TRUTH! Last days apostasy still maintains a "form of godliness" but at the same time "denies its power" (2 Tim. 3:5). That is where we are today! The profession remains but so many professing Christians know very little (if anything) about the life transforming POWER of the gospel! They profess the gospel, but it is not SINGULAR in their thinking. They claim to hold to the truth of Scripture, but the idea of STAND ALONE - ALL SUFFICIENCY OF SCRIPTURE is foreign to them.

Professing Christendom is more and more becoming a mere form of godliness that denies the TRUE POWER and ALL-SUFFICIENCY of the gospel!

Christians are here to say the world DOESN'T have the answer - not even a little bit! Jesus ALONE is the total answer to humanity's most basic and deepest problem. We can't fix depravity! ONLY JESUS CAN DO THIS! JESUS ALONE IS SAVIOR AND LORD! The SINGULAR answer of Jesus to the moral problems of the world is totally OFFENSIVE to a world lost in rebellion. But JESUS ALONE is the Christian ANSWER to the moral quagmire of the world!

1 Corinthians 2:1–5 (NKJV)
1 And I, brethren, when I came to you, did not come with excellence of speech or of wisdom declaring to you the testimony of God.
2 For I determined not to know anything among you except Jesus Christ and Him crucified.
3 I was with you in weakness, in fear, and in much trembling.
4 And my speech and my preaching were not with persuasive words of human wisdom, but in demonstration of the Spirit and of power,
5 that your faith should not be in the wisdom of men but in the power of God.
